What people are saying about Potter’s House
“The Potter’s House is a warm welcoming, well appointed vacation home. We have been going to PEI as a family almost every year for 20 years, and we look forward to returning to the Potter’s House each year.
We have travelled all over the island and have concluded that New London is the place to make your home base on a visit to the island. The Potter’s House reminds me of my grandmother’s home– it is warm, welcoming and inviting.
The best gift shop on the island in my opinion is the Village Pottery, which happens to be situated right next door to the house. Very convenient for our Christmas shopping needs! My husband loves to go deep sea fishing and really enjoys the experience provided by the deep sea fishing crew who operate out of New London. The best ice cream on the island is to be found at the Tasty Treat in Kensington, which is also very close by. We can recommend the Potter’s House without reservation!”

“Potter’s house is instantly a comfortable home whether you’re seeking a quiet and peaceful retreat, or filling it with the boisterous sounds of music, family and friends. I stayed there on my own for six weeks during a wonderfully creative and rejuvenating summer working next door at village pottery. I’ve also vacationed there when the house was filled to the brim and enjoying a huge lobster feast with my entire family was one of my favourite nights of that year.
I have fond memories of spending the day on the beach, heading to the boardwalk for ice cream and walking down to the wharf to pickup fresh mussels, lobster or chowder from New London seafood. Only at Potters house has running around a backyard that stretches into classic PEI scenery of green fields, red earth and blue skies been as much fun as cozying up on cool or rainy nights watching movies or chatting in the sitting room. The house, like the town of New London and like the Island of PEI itself have the friendly and welcoming charm that make the experience one that stays with you be it in your memories or – as in my case – because I always look forward to the next time I’ll be back.”
